Primo Restaurant![]() Melissa Kelly is executive chef and co-founder of Primo restaurant in Rockland, Maine (there are now also Primo restaurants in Tucson and Orlando). Primo serves Italian/Mediterranean cuisine using farm fresh ingredients, much of which is grown right on the premises. Melissa was named the James Beard Foundation Best Chef Northeast in 1999. Before owning her own place, Melissa worked under cooking greats Larry Forgione (An American Place) and Alice Waters (Chez Panisse). Chef Kelly is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. |
