To register with the Student Government Association (SGA) you MUST list at least TWO contact people for the group. If you are registering in the spring, please do not list seniors as contact people.
Once you have received confirmation that your organization is registered with SGA, please go to ITS to apply for an email account. ITS is currently located on the 1st floor of 1102 Broad Street (behind the John Crystal Center).

Please provide a purpose statement for your organization (minimum 5 sentences).
Our cheap food comes at the cost of environmental degradation and declining rural economies. Agricultural systems pollute our soils and water supplies with chemicals and nitrates. Wealth is funneled out of our communities as large corporations replace small, family owned stores and farms. Because the options for local, organic foods are limited, we are complicit in this status quo system. The Local Foods Buying Coop seeks to expand access to local food for the campus and wider community by forming relationships with local farmers and organizing collective purchases. This will give us the chance to live and eat responsibly by supporting local farmers and producers that give back to their communities and nurture the land.
There are a limited number of spaces available for student groups to receive mail in the SGA offices. Does your organization require a mail slot? Yes We need a mail box to collect order forms.
The student organization will comply with all of the guidelines for computer account use as per the 2005-2006 handbook.
