What I expect to do in the Local Economy Class:
1. Group Project: Solar Hot Water Heater with Darren Faulkner and Soren Pearson. Idea is to use the old solar water heater, refurbish it, get it ready to use to provide hot water for the SL wing, and do some research and studies on how solar water heating could be used economically in Fairfield.

3. Radio interview: Ernie Hinkle regarding local sustainability.
4. Microenterprise Lab Certification.
5. Begin historical food mapping for area
- Mohawk community: Butternut grove and morel mushrooms
- Ask Ernie Hinkle if Mr. Manning used sugar beets or sugar cane to make molasses?
- Blue Clay in Packwood.(Not food, but possibly a ceramic quality clay)
- Packwood: White Champion peaches, Blueberries, strawberries, watermelons
- Indianola: Merry Wood Orchards (apples)
